More Music

Some of these musicians I've played with, some I just think are great...

www.BlueRodeo.com
I've got a mug that reads, "In a just world, Blue Rodeo would be as popular as toast." And I like toast a lot.

www.EmmGryner.com
Emm Gryner's pretty much my hero. She won the Mix 99.9 National Songwriting Contest, got a label deal and then lost a label deal due to cutbacks, but has since put out about six CD's which are all amazing. Not only is she totally beautiful (and looks bizarrely like my friend, Alma) but her songwriting is simply stunning.

www.EmmaCookMusic.com
Emma won the Paragon singer/songwriter contest I was in. Good tunes, plus a beautiful voice and a great guitarist.

www.ErinSmithBand.com
Erin Smith's a good friend and one of my fav musicians in Toronto. Acoustic funk at it's best.

www.Flickershow.com
Julian Sark and Eli, also known as FLICKERSHOW, are great friends and even better songwriters. Download "Idiot Grin" and rock out - it's one of the best songs out there.

www.LeftOfHere.com
Left of Here are Paragon battle-of-the-bands finalists and apparently Alan Cross from 102.1 is sweet on them. A good groove and right nice fellas.

www.LoveJoy.com
Lovejoy's Chili Pepper-esque rock got them to the Emergenza finals a year before we did - good stuff and nice folks.

www.MichaelClosson.com
Michael's a sweet voiced Dave Matthews who's played a number of great acoustic shows with me.

www.Sonicbids.com/RBC
RBC stands for "Ray Boulay and the Constituents" who stand for a great night of rock. Ray shares my theatre background and has the vocal chops to prove it - A stellar mix of Blue Rodeo, Dave Matthews and Broadway show tunes.

www.Shoeflies.com
Good friends and crazed on stage, two of the Flies, Mr. Clark Allore and Rando Doucette were featured on my Live from C'est What CD. Always an excellent show.

www.BlueberryTrees.com
The Blueberry Trees organized our recent Tsunami benefit at the Horseshoe - good guys with killer songs, sweet harmonies and totally catchy hooks. Check them out!

www.TheFortunates.com
The Fortunates also played the Tsunami benefit with us - two great songwriters, excellent Blue Rodeo-esque tunes and nice guys too.

www.TheHeardMentality.com
These guys were handpicked by Finger Eleven to play Bayfest and we played the Black Swan with them - good Beatles-esque grooviness and harmonies - plus lots of Buffalos on their website.

www.TheNickLeeBand.com
We met Nick, Matt and John at Emergenza as we kicked each others asses over and over - rowdy prog rock fun and excellent players.
